Declared a festival of interest for tourism by the Autonomous Community of Valencia

The “Festa i Cavalcada de la Ceràmica” (Ceramics Festival and Parade) are, unquestionably, two of the most important cultural and entertaining events in the city’s calendar of activities and are intricately linked to our traditions and, in particular, to our ceramics.

The “Festa de la Ceràmica” is held on the weekend before 19 July (Saints Justa and Rufina’s Day). In 2023 it will be held on July 15 and 16.

During the celebration, you can experience ceramics thanks to the craftspeople who offer live demonstrations of different techniques, styles and tasks typical of their daily work.

The craftspeople are grouped according to their speciality. Although the most striking can be found in the area devoted to potters and raku ceramics, there are also other interesting ones such as ceramic wicker, painting, flowers , lustreware, clay modelling, jewellery, etc.

In addition, during the “Festa de la Ceràmica”, activities such as exhibitions and competitions related to craftwork and ceramics are likewise organised, making the day definitely worth your while.
