Good environmental practices

Enjoy the experience of visiting Manises practicing responsible tourism. These are some recommendations that you can follow to preserve our heritage:

RESPECT NATURE

Do not take flora with you or move objects from one place to another. Walk along the trails without leaving the path and avoid making excessive noise, remember that you are visiting the home of many species of animals.

TIE UP YOUR PET

Domestic animals may scare or bother wild animals, as well as other visitors. Always keep your pet on a leash and enjoy nature together. Of course, pick up their droppings and dispose of them in the nearest trash can.

IF YOU RIDE A BICYCLE

Enjoy your ride on the roads designated for this purpose. Respect the signs and pedestrians enjoying their walk. Wear a helmet and do not ride faster than 20 km/h.

IF YOU RIDE A HORSE

Do not use the footbridges, as an alternative, you can use the crossings and speed bumps enabled for this group.

PICK UP YOUR TRASH

We should not leave any trace in nature. Take with you the waste you generate and, as far a possible, the waste you find on your way. In this way you will be taking care of the environment and wildlife, which will not suffer the consequences of eating non-regulated products in their diet.

RESPECT PRIVATE PROPERTY

Do not trample fields or take fruit or produce from private farms. If the route crosses private property, leave everything as it was. If you find that a landowner has somehow cut off the usual access to the route, turn around and let us know.

IF YOU ENCOUNTER LIVESTOCK

Do not shout or make excessive noise. Leave space and watch the animals from a distance.

DO NOT MAKE FIRE

It is forbidden to make fire to avoid forest fires. Make use of the paelleros authorized for this purpose and that you will find inside the park.

HELP WITH THE ECONOMY

Do your shopping in the local stores of the municipalities that make up the Turia’s Nature Park.
